Deol Data Lens · The AI data lake for airports
Imagine every system in your airport connected into one single source of truth.
Now just ask it.
Flight operations, parking, finance, assets, tenants and the capital program — unified in one governed data lake that runs inside your walls. The Director, and every department behind them, asks in plain English and gets the answer in seconds, with the source attached.
- Step 1
Think
Have a question about your airport? That’s the only skill it takes.
- Step 2
Speak
Ask it in plain English. No report request, no analyst queue, no hunting through dashboards.
- Step 3
Learn
Lens answers in seconds from your governed data — the number, where it came from, and the query behind it.
- Step 4
Decide
Act on the same number every department sees. There is no second spreadsheet.
01 — The problem
Your airport already has the answers. They’re just scattered.
They live in FIDS and the flight schedule, the parking vendor’s portal, the ERP, the GIS and asset system, the utility’s billing site, council agendas — and a hundred spreadsheets that each tell a slightly different story.
Monday’s question, answered Thursday
A simple ask from the Director turns into emails to four departments, three exports, and one analyst reconciling them by hand.
Two reports, two different numbers
Finance and Operations pull the same metric from different systems and arrive at the board meeting disagreeing.
Sensitive data can’t go to a public AI
Airport security, lease and financial data can’t be pasted into a consumer chatbot. So the AI wave passes the airport by.
02 — Every department
Built for the Director. Useful to everyone who reports to them.
Every department asks in its own words and sees only what its role allows. This is what a morning at the airport sounds like with Lens — tap any question to ask it yourself.
03 — The dashboards
Five dashboards. One source of truth.
Every tile is computed live from the lake through one governed metric layer, so the dashboard, the Ask box and the board report can never disagree. Hover any chart for exact values.

04 — Your data
Built for data that can’t leave the building.
Lens runs on a server you own, inside your own network. Your data is never sent to a public AI service, and in air-gapped mode the system makes no outbound connections at all — no cloud, no exceptions.
Your data stays yours
It lives in your systems and on your server. Nothing is copied to our infrastructure, and nothing is used to train anyone’s model.
The AI never invents a figure
Every number comes from definitions your Finance and Operations teams approve, and every answer names the systems it came from.
No lock-in
Your source systems stay exactly as they are, and everything in Lens can be exported. Stop paying us and the platform keeps running on your hardware.
05 — Security & governance
An AI your auditor can sign off on.
Deol Data comes from airport security systems integration. Lens was engineered the way we engineer access control and command centers: least privilege, full audit, no surprises.
Role-based access by dashboard
Each account is granted specific dashboards and upload rights. Ask about a domain you can’t see and Lens declines — try it above as Operations and ask about revenue.
Read-only, always
Lens only ever reads from your systems. It cannot write to them, change a record or delete anything — there is no path for it to do so.
Every answer shows its work
Each answer names the systems behind the number, when they were last refreshed, and how long it took — so any figure can be checked, not just trusted.
Bad data never lands
Uploads are checked for three things — corrupted files, unrecognized feeds and inaccurate values — and quarantined until they pass.
Your identity provider
Staff sign in through your own SSO (OIDC or SAML) over TLS, so access follows the accounts and groups your IT team already manages.
Verified every release
An automated suite of 100 checks runs against every release — access control, data validation and each published metric — before it reaches your server.
06 — Connects to what you run
Three ways in. Every one lands in the same lake.
Live API connectors on a schedule, a watched shared drive, and validated uploads. Adding a new source is a small, isolated connector — nothing else in the system changes.
Flight ops & schedules
AODB, FIDS and schedule feeds such as FlightAware or Cirium keep the terminal picture current.
Parking & ground transport
Parking operator and ground-transportation systems for transactions, pre-booking and revenue.
Finance & ERP
Enterprise-fund exports: revenue, operating expense, cash, PFC and grant activity.
GIS & assets
Esri ArcGIS, Cartegraph, AssetWorks and similar for fleet, equipment and facilities.
Utilities
Green Button utility data for monthly energy cost and consumption.
Properties & leases
Tenant, concession and lease-management records for rent, space and expirations.
Drop folder
Mount an SMB or NFS share. New files are picked up automatically, ingested and archived.
Files & documents
CSV, XLSX and PDF. Spreadsheets are auto-classified; board packets and reports become searchable.
07 — Packaging
Subscribe, or own it outright.
Two ways to buy, matched to how airports budget. Pricing reflects the number of source connectors and your deployment — we scope it with you on the briefing.

08 — How we deliver
From briefing to boardroom.
Deol Data has spent 15+ years on the operator side of aviation — on programs at LAX, SFO and with TSA. We deliver Lens the way airports run projects: in phases, with sign-off at each gate.
Brief
A working session with the Director and department heads to list the questions that matter most.
Inventory
We map each question to a source system and confirm read-only access with your IT and security teams.
Connect
Connectors are built and validated against your real data, inside your network.
Govern
Finance and Operations sign off on each metric definition before it appears on a dashboard.
Launch
Roles assigned, staff trained, dashboards live. Then we add sources and capabilities as you grow.
09 — Questions
What airport leaders ask us first.
Does our data go to OpenAI, Anthropic or anyone else?
No. Lens runs the AI on hardware you control, inside your network, and makes no outbound connections in its standard configuration. Your data is never sent to a public AI service and is never used to train anyone’s model.
What happens when the AI gets something wrong?
The numbers don’t come from the AI. They come from definitions your Finance and Operations teams approve, and the AI is not permitted to produce a figure any other way. Every answer names its sources, so staff can check any number in seconds.
Do we need a data team to run it?
No. Admins manage users, connectors and uploads from a Settings screen, and the core runs on a modest server. Deol Data maintains the connectors under a subscription, or on an optional maintenance plan with a perpetual license.
Does it replace our existing BI or reporting tools?
It doesn’t have to. Lens can feed the tools you already use, while giving executives a plain-English front door to the same approved numbers.
Has this been built on a real airport?
Yes. Lens was engineered on a working California commercial-service airport’s data and systems. The dashboards on this page use a fictional airport and synthetic numbers so no client data is shown — we’re glad to walk you through the real build on a briefing.
How is it built?
We walk your IT and security teams through the full technical design, deployment model and test evidence in a private session under NDA. We don’t publish it — the engineering is ours, and the answers, the security model and the evidence are what matter to your airport.
How long does implementation take?
It depends on how many sources you connect and how quickly read-only access is granted. We’ll give you a dated schedule after the inventory step, not before.
10 — Book a briefing
Bring us your hardest question about your airport.
In 30 minutes we’ll show you Lens answering questions like it, and map what it would take to connect your systems.
